Halloween 2010

This year we went to The Farm in Snohomish, Washington to see Farmer Tim's pumpkin patch. Our friends the Choi family suggested we go there. Wow! What an awesome time. This is by far the coolest farm we have ever visited.

The farm is complete with a petting zoo, a huge corn maze, a bakery, corn truck, homemade corn dogs, the best caramel apples EVER, an enormous pumpkin patch, duck races, and hay mazes for the little ones. You have to go and check it out next Autumn. Dawson had an absolute BLAST!

What a year!

All I remember of January is being stuck down in the basement with smelly Bad-Dog wondering what all the commotion was upstairs.  Then there was all this crying all the time from this very small, wrinkly thing.  First they bring home a loud, stinky, annoying Bad-Dog and then they bring The-Tailpuller home.  They never asked me about any of this.

The Feeders have been acting strange all year, they used to let me sleep in the bed and give me lots of purrs but now they make strange noises and always carry The-Tailpuller everywhere.  I don't like this. They are constantly coming and going in the Wheeled-Kennel and seem pretty happy.

Hope you and your family are happy. (Wouldn't that be nice!)

Dawson camping!

Everyone thought we were crazy to take a 5 month old camping, and yes - maybe we are a bit crazy - but he did AWESOME and we had a great time.  Other than the mosquitoes, (but thank goodness Jen had the great chemical free idea to wear her Listerine and draw all the bugs to her) the late night drunken woo hoos next door, and the freezing temperatures at night, it was perfect.

Dawson is growing like a weed and we can't believe he is already 6 months old!  Latest accomplishments to date:

- Eating, spitting out, eating, then puking rice cereal (watch out, peas are next).

- He can officially bounce his bouncy chair across the entire kitchen.

- Screeching in public bathrooms and during church is super fun for him.

- As crazy and active as he is he still loves to cuddle.

It’s official…he’s big.

Dawson went in for his 2 month well-baby check up last week and topped out at a whopping 14 pounds and 25" in length.  He is in the 98th percentile for weight and the 92nd percentile for length.  So the official word from the doctor is...
"Yep, he's big." So we are now going to start shopping at the Big & Tall store for babies since he is already in 9 month sized onesies.

Karen starts back to work on April 9th and Dawson starts at Grandma Day Camp so please pray for an easy transition.

Here are a few new photos of the little man...
